Indian troops continuing extensive CASOs, house raids in IIOJK

Srinagar: Indian forces’ personnel are continuing extensive cordon and search operations (CASOs) and house raids across various areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, instilling fear and intimidation among the local population.

According to Kashmir Media Service, these operations are taking place in Srinagar, Kupwara, Handwara, Sopore, Tangmarg, Pattan, Beerwah, Kangan, Bandipora, Sonawari, Hajin, Tral, Bijbehara, Kokernag, Yaripora, Shopian, Kishtwar, Doda, Rajouri, Poonch and Kathua.

Besides harassing and terrorizing residents, the occupation troops are looting cash, gold and household items during these military operations.

Moreover, Kashmiri journalists face severe repression, with the occupation authorities preventing them from reporting the true ground realities. Instead, they are coerced into publishing fabricated stories under threat of dire consequences.

The Indian military and police forces are also pressuring local people to act as informers and support the BJP and RSS’s Hindutva agenda in the territory.
