Right to self-determination only solution to Kashmir dispute: APHC-AJK
Islamabad: A delegation of the Karachi Youth Movement visited the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter office in Islamabad, today, where Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi and the entire Hurriyat leadership welcomed them.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation was led by its Chairman Faizan Hussain, and also comprised Zeeshan, Jahanzeb Ilyas, Syed Arsalan Ali, Mazhar Javed.
Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, welcoming the delegation, said the Hurriyat Conference is struggling for the right to self-determination. He said, “You and I will work together on solid foundations, and we have to build mutual relations on strong foundations.”
He said the Hurriyat Conference does not support any phased solution regarding the Kashmir dispute. The right to self-determination is the main objective, adding: “We support tripartite talks. We will not accept the mediation of any country that is a partner of India.”
The Chairman of the Youth Movement Karachi, Faizan Hussain, on the occasion thanked the Hurriyat leadership for the warm welcome and said the purpose of travelling 1300 kilometers to the Hurriyat Conference office in Islamabad is that they are also part of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.
The Youth Movement Karachi Chairman assured the APHC-AJK that they will support the Hurriyat Conference throughout Pakistan.
The meeting was also attended by Muhammad Farooq Rahmani, Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Advocate Parvez Ahmed, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Mian Muzaffar, Imtiaz Wani, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Syed Ijaz Rahmani, Nisar Mirza, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Zahid Ashraf, Zahid Safi, Raja Khadim Hussain, Haji Sultan Butt, Gulshan Ahmed, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Zahid Mujtaba, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Imtiaz Ahmed Butt, Abdul Majeed Mir and Abdul Majeed Lone.
