Indian troops conduct CASOs in Kishtwar, Rajouri districts

Jammu: Indian troops, in collaboration with Village Defence Guard (VDG) personnel, launched cordon-and-search operations (CASOs) in Kishtwar and Rajouri districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, shots were reportedly fired in the Kuntwara area of Kishtwar district, a police officer claimed.

“Following the incident, a cordon-and-search operation was launched in the area,” the officer confirmed.

Simultaneously, Indian forces conducted a similar operation in various villages of the Kalakote area in Rajouri district.

These operations have raised concerns among local residents, as Indian forces continue their activities under the pretext of security measures in the occupied territory.
