Indian troops arrest nine Kashmiri youth in IIOJK
Srinagar: A number of youth have been arrested following a series of search and frisking operations conducted by Indian forces across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops have arrested nine youth in various districts of IOJK under false and fabricated cases.
Indian authorities stated that two youth were arrested from Srinagar, three from Baramulla, three from Bandipora and one Kashmiri youth was detained from Kupwara district.
Notably, the arrests of Kashmiris by Indian forces personnel under various pretexts have become a regular and deeply concerning occurrence in IIOJK. These detentions are not isolated incidents but part of a broader strategy by the occupation authorities to stifle any form of resistance or dissent in the occupied territory.
