Quaid-e-Azam’s multiple visits to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir underscored his deep attachment to the territory his unwavering commitment to securing justice for Kashmiri Muslims. Even before Pakistan’s independence, he championed the Kashmir cause, advocating for their right to freedom and justice. His efforts to liberate Kashmir from Indian occupation highlighted his determination to go to any extent for their rights.
Jinnah’s vision of a separate state for Muslims, rooted in the Two-Nation Theory, remains central to Kashmiris’ heroic struggle against Indian oppression. The revocation of Article 370 by the Modi-led fascist regime has further validated the necessity of a separate homeland for Muslims to safeguard their identity and future. The policies of the Indian government are an endorsement of the Two-Nation Theory, reinforcing the Kashmiris’ resolve for self-determination.
The Kashmiris’ freedom movement is an inseparable part of the Pakistan Movement, with Jinnah’s desire for their justice still resonating in their resistance.
