July 13, 1931 massacre is Jallianwala Bagh of Kashmiris: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: Chief Minister of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has said that the July 13, 1931 massacre is the Jallianwala Bagh of Kashmiris where people sacrificed their lives while fighting against the British-backed rule.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah in a post on X expressed his deep displeasure over the wrong portrayal of the martyrs of July 13, saying that the real heroes who resisted the British rule are now being wrongly portrayed as villains just because they were Muslims.

He admitted that people are not being allowed to visit the graves of the martyrs. He said they will not forget the sacrifices of these martyrs.

It should be noted that there is apparently a National Conference government in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Omar Abdullah is the Chief Minister, but how much power he has, this became clear yesterday when Indian forces stopped people from going to the shrine of martyrs Naqshband Sahib to pay homage to the martyrs of July 13 and Omar Abdullah’s so-called government watched helplessly and could not do anything.

In fact, these are the people who are responsible for the ongoing Indian oppression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir because they have traded Kashmiris with India for their own petty interests, which is why they are willing to remain its puppets despite all kinds of insults and humiliation.
