Srinagar-Jammu Highway remains closed on 5th day in IIOJK
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Srinagar-Jammu Highway continues to remain closed due to major damages in different areas.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the traffic police authorities today issued a fresh advisory, confirming that the Srinagar-Jammu Highway continues to remain closed following major damages between Jakheni and Chenani.
The highway remained closed for the 5th straight day today after several stretches of the road in Udhampur district were completely washed away in recent flash floods.
Officials said commuters are strictly advised not to undertake journeys on the highway until restoration work is completed and the surface is traffic-worthy.
