BJP’s plans to manipulate Rajya Sabha elections for IIOJK Assembly exposed

Islamabad: Indian Minister for Science and Technology and Minister for Earth Sciences Dr Jitendra Singh has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes that its all three candidates will win the October 24, 2025 Rajya Sabha polls in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, National Conference is holding the majority of seats in the IIOJK Assembly and it is mathematically improbable for BJP’s three candidates to win fair Rajya Sabha polls.

Dr Jitendra Singh’s claim that Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) “listen to the voice of their conscience” is a thinly veiled justification for manipulating votes in favour of BJP candidates.

The BJP has only 28 seats in and NC has 42 seats in the IIOJK Assembly then how can a minister claim that they will win all seats. It is a clear indication that BJP plans to manipulate the voting process to gain seats in Rajya Sabha.

The BJP’s assertion that the future of Jammu and Kashmir is “safe in PM Modi’s hands” ignores the political reality that NC dominates the legislature, making BJP’s victory a far-fetched narrative unless the election is engineered.

BJP’s public confidence stands in stark contrast to the Assembly composition, suggesting the party will attempt pressure, inducement, or rigging to manufacture a win in Rajya Sabha election.

BJP’s insistence on a “democratic process” appears more like political theater, aimed at preparing the narrative for any manipulation or disputed result.

The NC holds the actual voting power, making any claim of BJP sweeping all three Rajya Sabha seats statistically impossible without behind-the-scenes interference and threats.

BJP’s brazen public confidence signals an intent to engineer the outcome rather than rely on legitimate legislative votes.
