Fire destroys two residential houses in Poonch
Jammu: Two residential houses were completely destroyed in a fire at village Arai in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials said the homes belonged to Ghulam Din Tantry, son of Mohammad Abdullah, and Abdul Qayoom, son of Ghulam Din, both residents of the village.
Fire and Emergency Services teams rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control, preventing further damage.
Officials reported that household goods and property worth several lakhs were lost, but no casualties or injuries were recorded.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
