Indian police attach properties of seven more Kashmiris in IIOJK

Jammu: The Bharatiya Janata Party regime, led by the New Delhi-appointed Lieutenant Governor in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has seized the properties of seven more Kashmiris in Kathua district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, on the orders of the administration, Indian police have attached properties including over 10 kanals of land in the Lohai Malhar area of Kathua district, valued at crores of rupees.
The immovable parental properties attached belong to Mohammad Ayaz, Abdul Kareem, Sarfraz Nawaz, Mohammad Farooq, Mohammad Hafeez, Ghulam Mohammad, and Akhter Ali in the Lohai Malhar area of the district.
Since the abrogation of the special status under Articles 370 and 35A of occupied Kashmir in August 2019, the BJP-led Hindutva regime has intensified its campaign to evict Kashmiris from their homes and lands. The move is aimed at harassing and economically weakening the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir. Indian forces’ personnel, empowered by draconian laws, are systematically targeting Kashmiri youth in IIOJK in a calculated attempt to suppress the Kashmiris’ legitimate political aspirations and their just demand for the right to self-determination.
Since August 5, 2019, the situation in IIOJK has deteriorated significantly.
