IIOJK: 16-year-old boy succumbs to bullet injury in Kupwara
Srinagar:: A 16-year-old boy who sustained a bullet injury in Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, identified as Fahad Bhat, was critically injured after a licensed bore gun accidentally discharged at his residence in the Anwarabad Salkoot area of Kupwara district on Friday.
He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Kupwara, where doctors provided initial treatment before referring him to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar, for advanced medical care. However, despite the efforts of the medical team, Fahad Bhat succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
