Those involved in Ram Mandir scam should be arrested immediately: Congress

New Delhi: The Congress has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the embezzlement of donations and offerings in the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and has demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the scam.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Congress spokesperson Akhilesh Prasad Singh addressing a press conference in New Delhi said that the investigation of the entire matter should be under the supervision of a serving judge of the Supreme Court because the roots of corruption are very deep.

He said serious allegations have been made against the officials of the trust, so they should be arrested immediately and the trust should also be dissolved because people have lost trust in it.

Akhilesh Prasad said that this corruption incident has revealed that BJP leaders are not true Ram devotees because they did not follow the rule of Ram by not ordering an investigation, the country knows why Prime Minister Modi is silent on such a big issue.

Akhilesh Prasad Singh further said that it was strange that no arrest had been made yet, if any opposition member was involved in this, the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation would have arrested them immediately.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on the occasion repeated this dialogue from the film “Apkar” that “They deceive God, what will they leave behind for a human being.”
