Mass anti-Muslim massacre threatened after Hindu vigilantes sentenced

Surat,: A man from Surat in Gujarat has issued open threats of mass violence and “massacre” against Muslims across India in a viral video following a court verdict in Madhya Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in the clip, Vishal Singh targeted Additional District and Sessions Judge Tabassum Khan with communal slurs and warned that if “our 14 brothers” are not released within ten days, there will be widespread bloodshed. The remarks have drawn sharp criticism on social media, with users condemning it as incitement to communal violence and direct intimidation of the judiciary.
Several netizens expressed alarm over the threat to a sitting Muslim woman judge. One user wrote, “When a Muslim judge is openly threatened by Hindu goons, what hope is left for ordinary citizens?” Another highlighted the hypocrisy, stating that while a Hindu is abusing the judge and threatening genocide if the accused are not freed, claims are still made that Muslims are safe in India.
Critics pointed out the official silence on the matter. Many questioned why neither the government nor police have taken strong action against such open threats.
The video has once again exposed the growing atmosphere of hatred and intolerance against Muslims and highlighted how religious identity is being used to undermine judicial decisions.
The court in Seoni Malwa had sentenced 14 men to life imprisonment for the 2022 lynching of Nazir Ahmad.
