Massive Rajouri military operation enters 44th day

Jammu: Indian forces continued their violent cordon and search operation for the 44th consecutive day today in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the cordon and search operation, named by the Indian army establishment as “Operation Sheruwali”, entered its 44th day on Sunday, with forces continuing extensive searches in the Dorimal and Gambir Mughlan areas of the Manjakote area of the district.
The operation is aimed at curbing support for the freedom struggle and targeting liberation activists believed to be active in the area. While maintaining a strong presence across Rajouri, Poonch and other adjoining districts of the Jammu region, Indian forces are interrogating and questioning locals on a daily basis, making their lives miserable.
Search and surveillance operations are continuing across designated areas with the support of advanced military equipment, drones and gunship helicopters.
‘Operation Sheruwali’ is an ongoing, large-scale counter-terrorism combing mission in the dense forest belts of the Dorimal-Gambhir Mughlan area in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. While the operation remains underway, all participating forces are carrying out extensive searches. Force officials have stated that the operation will continue until its objectives are fully achieved.
