Cordon, search operations continue in Shopian, Rajouri districts

Srinagar : Indian forces continued their massive cordon and search operation in Shopian and Rajouri districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian army’s Rashtriya Rifles, para commandos, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group continued the cordon and search operation on 7th day, today, in Saidpora payan, Amshipora, Shamsipora, Chanapora, Gundhadoo, ChakShamsipora, Chak Amshipora and adjoining areas of Shopian district.
Indian forces during the operation martyred one youth in a fake encounter in the area on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Indian forces’ personnel further expanded their prolonged military operation in different areas of Manjkote and Sunderbani of Rajouri district, which entered its 49th consecutive day, today. 
Massive search operations, backed by drones and gunship helicopters, continued in the areas, while surveillance systems are detecting the movement of the people in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Indian army chief Gen Dhiraj Seth visited forward areas along the Line of Control in Poonch, Rajouri and Sunderbani to review the prevailing military operation situation in the areas.
