11 Indian forces’ personnel injured in Shopian, Islamabad road mishaps
Srinagar: Eleven Indian forces’ personnel, including an officer, were injured in separate road accidents in the Shopian and Islamabad districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, eight personnel, including seven Central Reserve Police Force troops and a policeman, were injured when a CRPF bunker vehicle overturned and rolled down on the Wachi main road in the Zainapora area of the district.
Officials said the BP bunker vehicle of the CRPF’s 178 Battalion deployed at Police Post Wachi lost control and overturned. The injured were immediately shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) Zainapora for treatment. The cause of the accident is being ascertained, while further details are awaited.
In a separate incident, three Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel were injured after a civilian pick-up van lost control of the vehicle, rammed into their temporary bunker in the Pahalgam area of Isamabad district. The driver also sustained injuries in the collision.
