IIOJK’s statehood will be achieved through continuous efforts: Omar Abdullah
Srinagar: The Chief Minister of Indian illegaly occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, has said that the Statehood of the territory will be achieved not only through protests, but through continuous efforts.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah, while talking to media persons in Ganderbal, said he has continuously pushed this demand and has not limited his efforts to just symbolic protests.
Referring to the protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi regarding the restoration of Statehood, he said just one protest would not be enough. If all the problems had been resolved through one protest, all the problems of the world would have been resolved long ago, he added.
He said the Kashmir Assembly has already passed a resolution demanding restoration of Statehood and sent it to the Indian government. He said, “We will continue to do whatever is necessary to achieve our goal.”
