Pro-Khalistan, CJP graffiti defaces Indian Embassy in Slovenia

Islamabad: Pro-Khalistan and Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) graffiti defaced the Indian Embassy in Ljubljana, Slovenia, just ahead of India’s Independence Day, exposing deep fractures in New Delhi’s narrative of unity.
According to Kashmir Media Service, slogans such as “KHALISTAN Zindabad” and “Modi Terrorist – Hindustan MURDABAD” appeared on the front door of the mission, while Khalistan flags were fixed at the main entrance.
A pointed message addressed to Ambassador Amit Narang declared that 15 August holds no meaning as independence for Sikhs in Punjab and that the Tiranga should not be hoisted. Outer walls of the embassy also carried the CJP line “CJP Hul Disintegration of India.”
Observers said the action signals that some activists no longer seek mere regime change. They are now framing the only remedy for the problems confronting Indian youth as disintegration, dissolution and Balkanization.
By targeting a diplomatic mission in Europe, the graffiti projects India’s internal tensions onto the international stage and questions the authenticity of the state’s claims of seamless national cohesion.
The incident underscores persistent grievances over governance, identity and political exclusion that official rhetoric of a rising, unified India has failed to resolve.
Analysts said rather than dismissing the protest as isolated vandalism, the visible symbols of Khalistan and calls for breakup highlight unresolved fault lines that continue to challenge New Delhi’s authority both at home and abroad.
