Rallies in AJK to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day

Muzaffarabad: Rallies were held in Muzaffarabad, and other parts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the participants of the rally, including All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leaders, students, civil society, political leaders, activists and Kashmiri migrants raised vociferous slogans in favour of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

The participants carried the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and chanted “Pakistan Se Rishta Kya La Ilah Illallah “, “Jeevay Jeevay Pakistan”, “Dil Dil Hai Kashmir Jaan Jaan Pakistan” and “We are Pakistanis” …”Pakistan is ours”.

Addressing the rally, speakers said the people of Jammu and Kashmir have great love and devotion for Pakistan. They prayed for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and said the day is not far when India’s military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir will end and the Kashmiri people will decide their political future of their free will.

Speaking at the event, speakers said the Kashmiri people celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan as a day of thanks-giving.

It was expressed that Kashmiri youth would play the role of the first force in making Pakistan stronger and stronger.

The participants of the rally carried the flags of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and were chanting anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.

Meanwhile, a grand ceremony was organized by the APHC-AJK in front of the Martyrs’ Memorial Chowk, Muzaffarabad, to mark Pakistan’s Independence Day, in which the deep love for Pakistan and the eternal bond of the Kashmiri people with Pakistan were expressed.

The participants in the ceremony expressed their deep attachment to Pakistan and raised slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Kashmir Banega Pakistan”.

At the end of the ceremony, a magnificent fireworks display was also performed, which further enhanced the joy of Independence Day.

The ceremony was presided over by APHC-AJK General Secretary Advocate Pervaiz Ahmed, while Raja Khadim Hussain, Zahid Ashraf, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Abdul Majeed Mir and other speakers addressed the gathering.
