Indian forces launch cordon and search operation in Shopian
Srinagar: Indian forces launched a cordon and search operation in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, troops of the Indian Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles and paramilitary personnel launched the operation in the Naikpora Memender area of the district.
During the operation, Indian forces claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition from an orchard in the area, while search and frisking was going on. The forces also interrogated and questioned several people in the area in the name of a so-called investigation.
