All meat establishments across Rajasthan closed for Ayodhya temple ceremony today
New Delhi: All slaughter houses, meat and fish shops are closed across Rajasthan in India on the order of the state government, today, due to the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the order for the closure of the establishments, mostly belonging to Muslims, was given by the Rajasthan government
The closure applies to all such establishments within the borders of Rajasthan.
The Director of the Local Self-Government Department, Suresh Kumar Ola, has directed municipal authorities in Rajasthan to close all slaughterhouses, meat, and fish shops on January 22 for the consecration of the Ram Temple.
The Indian government has declared a half-day closure for Central Government Offices, Central Institutions, and Central Industrial Establishments nationwide today (January 22).
The Ministry of Personnel and Training issued an official memorandum on January 19th, informing all Ministries and Departments about this half-day closure.
