Three Indian CRPF commandos killed, 14 injured in an attack in Chhattisgarh
Raipur: Three Indian paramilitary personnel, including two commandos, were killed and 14 others injured in an attack in disturbed Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, police said Naxal guerrillas attacked the personnel of CRPF and its elite Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) near Tekalgudem village along the Sukma-Bijapur border while they were carrying out a search operation.
Among the three killed personnel, two belonged to the CoBRA’s 201st battalion and one to the CRPF’s 150th battalion, a senior police officer said.
The Bastar Range Inspector General of Police said the clash took place in the same area where 23 Indian forces’ personnel were killed in 2021.
