IIOJK leaders, organizations thank Pakistan for observing day

 


Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders and organizations have thanked Pakistan for observing, today, Kashmir Solidarity Day to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC leaders Fayaz Hussain Jafari, Syed Sibt Shabbir Qummi and Abdul Samad Inqilabi in their statements in Srinagar termed “Kashmir Solidarity Day” as a testament to the unbreakable bond between Pakistan and the oppressed people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The leaders emphasized the day’s significance in rekindling the spirit for freedom among the Kashmiris living under illegal Indian occupation. The leaders called for a resolution of the Kashmir issue in accordance with United Nations resolutions, granting the Kashmiris their rightful freedom. The leaders prayed Pakistan’s well-being and progress, as it continues to extend political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmiri cause.

The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League at a meeting, chaired by Dr. Musab, in Srinagar emphasized the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day. Participants commended Pakistan’s role as a key stakeholder in the Kashmir dispute and called for adherence to UN resolutions for a swift settlement. The meeting condemned Indian armed forces’ atrocities in the territory.
