Indian CRPF man commits suicide in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man committed suicide in Madhya Pradesh state in India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Kailash Chandra Mehra, a 35-year-old Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man, committed suicide at the CRPF barracks of the 190 battalion in Chatra town of the state.
Upon noticing his absence, Mehra’s comrades found his room locked from inside. A peek through the window revealed a grim sight: Mehra hanging from the ceiling fan. The CRPF’s comrades immediately summoned a CRPF doctor who, upon arrival, declared Mehra dead. The battalion’s Commandant, Ram Bhros Kumar, was then informed about the sorrowful event.
This incident marks the second case of suicide within the CRPF ranks in the area over recent months, adding a layer of concern about the mental health of the Indian paramilitary personnel’s.
