APHC-AJK terms Modi’s visit to IIOJK a cruel joke with Kashmiris
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference-AJK chapter has strongly criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to occupied Jammu and Kashmir, labeling it as a cruel joke with the Kashmiri people.
According ot Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convenor Mehmood Ahmed Saghar, General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Mateen and Secretary Information Imtiaz Wani in a joint statement in Islamabad said that the RSS-backed fascist Modi regime has perpetrated extreme brutality and violated the basic rights of Kashmiris.
They condemned the revocation of Article 370 and 35-A as a direct assault on Kashmiri rights and highlighted the intensified atrocities by Indian forces since August 5, 2019. The leaders lamented the loss of innocent lives, arbitrary arrests, and economic devastation caused by Indian forces in IIOJK. Additionally, they accused the Modi regime of attempting to alter the region’s demography and transform Kashmir into a graveyard.
