BJP is most corrupt party in India’s history, says RJD leader Manoj Jha
New Delhi: Senior leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Manoj Jha has said that data on electoral bonds has proved that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the most corrupt political party in the history of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Manoj Jha cited data available on the Indian Supreme Court’s website, said it contradicts the BJP’s claims of nationalism and reveals misuse of central investigating agencies for political gains. The data flies in the face of the “nationalistic pretensions” of the BJP, Jha said.
He further ridiculed BJP leaders for their social media praise of Narendra Modi following a minor reduction in petrol prices, labelling it as sycophancy. He questioned the timing and responsibility for the price cut, asserting that the government must be held accountable for the previous surge in prices.
He criticised the government’s decision to reduce petrol prices by a mere ₹2 per litre ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, alleging an attempt to deceive the public.
Highlighting instances where private companies raided by the Enforcement Directorate subsequently purchased electoral bonds, Manoj Jha insinuated nefarious connections between BJP and corporate interests.
