Pashupati Paras resigns from BJP govt’s cabinet, citing BJP’s injustices
New Delhi: Pashupati Kumar Paras, a minister in the BJP-led government, has tendered his resignation, citing “injustice” by the BJP towards his Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) in Bihar’s Lok Sabha seat-sharing agreement with allies.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Paras announced his resignation during a press conference held a day after the BJP-led NDA disclosed its seat-sharing arrangement, allocating five seats to the Chirag Paswan-led LJP (Ram Vilas).
During the press conference, Paras briefly addressed his resignation without delving into his future plans. However, he emphasized feeling unjustly treated by the BJP, despite his party’s honest and loyal service to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
