Police constable killed in Doda road accident
Jammu: A police head constable lost his life in a road accident in Doda district of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Head Constable Roshan Lal lost his life in a road accident when the vehicle he was traveling in, along with a Sector Magistrate, veered off the Khilani Marmat Link Road in Doda and plunged into a deep gorge.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, at least three residential houses were engulfed in a massive blaze in the Dangiwacha Rafiabad area of Baramulla district.
A Fire and Emergency Services official confirmed that three residential houses, including one double-storeyed and two single-storeyed structures, were completely destroyed in the fire.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be a leakage from a domestic gas cylinder,” stated the official.
