Abdul Rasheed Turabi hosts Kashmir-Palestine solidarity conference
Islamabad: A Kashmir-Palestine Solidarity Conference was organized by Abdul Rasheed Turabi, Chairman of the Kashmir-Palestine Solidarity Forum and former leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Palestinian leader Dr. Khaled Qadumi while addressing the conference has revealed that Israel has destroyed 70% of Gaza by bombing. 40,000 Palestinians have been martyred and 76,000 Palestinians have been seriously injured. Israeli soldiers are targeting Palestinian doctors, and doctors are being arrested and martyred, he added.
In the war America’s modern weapons are being used, Dr Qadumi said, adding that over 2.2 million Palestinians are homeless, over 1,000 trucks are needed daily at the Rafah crossing and 40 trucks are being allowed to pass through that is insufficient.
He maintained that Israel is using hunger as a weapon against Palestinians. Muslims have a duty to fight for the freedom of the First Qibla, he added.
He said that the Palestinians are fighting for the survival of the entire Ummah.
Addressing the conference, former Prime Minister Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan said that Muslim countries should send troops to establish peace in Gaza, Israel’s state terrorism has become unbearable, even if the army does not go to fight, at least to stop the fighting.
If Israel does not stop the occupation, then Kashmir will also become Gaza. At this time, the Ummah is very difficult. I am not in the government. I can only pray. I thank Abdul Rasheed Turabi to gather all of us, he said.
Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir-Gilgit-Baltistan Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan said that 2 crore Kashmiris are with their Palestinian brothers and nobody can stop Palestine from becoming free.
Asif Luqman Qazi, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Raja Khalid, Javed Arif Abbasi and others addressed the Kashmir-Palestine Solidarity Conference hosted by Abdul Rasheed Turabi.
