Three more youth arrested during CASO in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian troops have arrested three youth in Sopore town of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the arrests took place during a search operation at the Fruit Mandi crossing area, where Faisal Ahmad, Aquib, and Adil were apprehended by Indian troops and paramilitary personnel.
The troops claim the youth are ‘upper ground activists’ and assert that they recovered a pistol and mobile phones from their possession to justify the arrests.
Prior to this incident, Indian police had also booked five youth under the draconian law, Public Safety Act, in Baramulla district, subsequently detaining them in District Jail Udhampur & Kot-Balwal Jail Central Jail Jammu.
