Jailed APHC leaders extend Eid greetings to people of IIOJK
Lives of Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine unbearable: Masarrat Alam, Nayeem Khan

Illegally jailed Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Masarrat Aalam Butt and senior APHC leader Nayeem Ahmed Khan have extended Eid greetings to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the world over on Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Masarrat Aalam Butt, while extending heartfelt Eid greetings to the Muslim ummah, particularly the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, prayed for the immediate liberation of both oppressed peoples from the illegal domination of the two oppressive colonial powers India, and Israel.
Masarrat Aalam Butt, who is also the head of the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, in his special message from the notorious Tihar Jail in New Delhi on Eid-ul-Fitr said that the Muslim world is going through an extremely critical phase of trial and tribulation.
The usurping powers have made the lives of Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine unbearable, he said and added that the Modi regime acting on the Israeli policy to advance its settler colonial agenda in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Masarrat Aalam Butt and Nayeem Ahmad Khan urged people to pray for the release of illegally detained Kashmiri political leaders and youth, who are subjected to ill-treatment in Indian jails, adding that these Kashmiri leaders are facing tremendous hardships and even basic healthcare is not available to them. They said that the Kashmiri and Palestinian people are creating an unparalleled history of sacrifices, and these great sacrifices will never be in vain. The oppressive and tyrannical forces will definitely have to face defeat one day and the dawn of freedom will continue to rise.
Senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in his statement in Srinagar also extended warm greetings to the people of Kashmir on the joyous occasion of Eid ul-Fitr.
The APHC spokesperson, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, while strongly condemning the Indian authorities’ closure of the historic Jamia Masjid and Eidgah of Srinagar for Eid prayers, in a statement in Srinagar said that this step of India is extremely painful and a blatant interference in the religious matters of Muslims.
