India’s BSF kills another Bangladesh national
Dhaka: Indian Border Security Force killed another Bangladeshi man in Brahmanbaria area of Bangladesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Bangladeshi man, a farmer by profession, identified as Muhammadd Hasan, 23, was killed in firing of Indian Border Security Force personnel along the Putia border under Kasba Upazila in Brahmanbaria.
The victim Hasan along with some of his friends went to the zero line area of the Indian border in Putia and the BSF opened fire, leaving Hasan injured.
His friends Muahmmad Yasin and Emon Mia with the help of locals rescued him and brought him to Kasba Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead.
Raju Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Kasba police station, said that the body of the youth killed in BSF firing was kept in the upazila health complex. It would be sent to the district Sadar hospital morgue for post-mortem, he added.
Sultanpur 60BGB Captain Javed Bin Jabbar said that they were investigating into the matter.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held between BGB and BSF in the afternoon. In the meeting, BGB formally protested the incident. Earlier, India has killed many Bangladeshi nationals on the border areas.
