China will never treat India as equal partner, says USISPF president
Washington: Mukesh Aghi, the president of the US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF), has warned that China will never treat India as an equal partner, and is instead forcing New Delhi to divert resources from capital investment to defense spending by amassing troops on the border.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the India-China border standoff, which began in May 2020, remains unresolved despite several rounds of talks between the two nations.
Aghi heads a prominent US-based India-centric business and strategic group.
Aghi’s comments come as the militaries of India and China remain locked in a standoff, with no full resolution of the border dispute in sight.
