40 more IIOJK employees face action on baseless charges
Srinagar: Alongside the judiciary, the Modi- led Indian regime is also using its election department to terminate Kashmiri employees on baseless charges as part of its nefarious agenda to purge the government departments from Kashmiri employees to advance its Hindutva agenda in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in the latest move, an action around 40 government employees have been taken on the so-called charge of violation of Model Code of Conduct in the occupied territory.
“Four employees have been suspended, disciplinary action has been initiated against one besides one employee has been disengaged from services and inquiry has been started against thirty four employees”, read a communique released by the election department.
The Modi government has terminated the services of 59 employees on similar grounds since April 2021. The move has sparked controversy and criticism, with observers believing that Kashmiri employees are being selectively targeted. They slam the occupation administration, stating that the accused were not given a chance to defend themselves.
