Indian CRPF constable commits suicide in Uttar Pradesh
Lucknow: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable committed suicide in BJP ruled Utter Pradesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 32-year-old CRPF constable Ankit Malik shot himself with his licensed pistol in his home in Sarnawali village in Muzaffarnagar area of the state.
Phugana DSP Ravi Shankar said, “Ankit Malik was posted in Delhi and had come on leave. His licensed weapon was taken into possession, and the forensic team collected evidence. An investigation is being conducted to find the reason for the suicide.”
Ankit joined CRPF in 2014 and was currently posted in Manglaur jail in Delhi.
As per an Indian media report, Ankit was under depression due to his upcoming posting in Chhattisgarh.
