Seminar on interfaith dialogue to promote unity and understanding in IIOJK
Budgam: The Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian organized a daylong seminar on “Interfaith Dialogue: Its Need and Importance in Contemporary Times” at Howzeh Jamia Babul Ilem Oriental College of Learning in Budgam, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the event was held to commemorate the 35th demise anniversary of Late Imam Khomeini (R.A) and brought together distinguished guests from various religious backgrounds.
Speakers at the seminar emphasized the importance of interfaith dialogue in promoting communal harmony and understanding. Senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al- Moosvi Al-Safvi, President of Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian’s Interfaith Dialogue chapter, stressed that interfaith dialogue is essential to avoid fanaticism and promote pluralism.
Other speakers included Syed Shamas Rehman, Moulana Kurshid Ahmed Kanoon Gou, Narender Singh Khalsa and Mir Shahid Saleem.
The guests felicitated Ahga Syed Hassan Moosvi for his efforts in promoting interfaith dialogue and cooperation.
