Lok Sabha elections results proved India’s people do not want Modi: Rahul
New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition Congress party in India, has said that the results of the Lok Sabha elections have given Modi a clear message from the people that they do not want Modi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during the counting of votes in the Lok Sabha elections in India, Rahul Gandhi addressed a press conference at the Congress headquarters and said he has fought this election against the entire governance system of India, our fight is to save the Constitution of India. For that, the Modi government took actions against the opposition, put the Chief Minister of New Delhi in jail.
He said, “We fought this election not only against the BJP but also against the entire state machinery, secret agencies, bureaucracy and quasi-judiciary. He said the BJP broke the parties, put the chief ministers in jails and used every tactic but the Congress leaders united and fought the elections against the government.
Rahul Gandhi said the work of saving India has been done by the poor people, workers and farmers, the weak people of India stood up to save the Indian Constitution.
On this occasion, Congress President Mallikarjan Ghadke said today’s results are the results of the people and the victory of the people. These results are the defeat of Modi and these results are the victory of India’s democracy.
The Congress president said, “Our fight is not over yet, we have to continue fighting, thanking the people for their support.”
