Modi faces difficulties to form govt in India
New Delhi: In the recent Lok Sabha elections in India, the Bharatiya Janata Party, contrary to its lofty claims, won fewer seats than its expectations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Modi’s difficulties to form the government have increased after the demands of the Lok Sabha Speaker, Deputy Speaker and important ministries from the coalition parties.
BJP’s four allied parties have demanded several important ministries, including Lok Sabha Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Finance, Interior, External Affairs, Development and Communications ministries to support Modi in forming the government.
Telugu Desam Party, which won 16 seats in the elections, chief N Chandrababu Naidu has demanded nine major ministries from the BJP, including Speaker, Education and Finance.
Another ally of BJP, Janata Dal United, has demanded four key ministries from Modi after winning 12 seats.
Other ally parties Shiv Sena and Lok Jan Shakti Party have also demanded key ministries from BJP.
