Indian BSF men shooting leaves 3 Bangladeshi farmers injured
Lalmonirhat:: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot at and injured three Bangladeshi farmers on the border side of Bangladesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, three Bangladeshi farmers sustained bullet wounds in firing by India’s BSF along Hatibandha frontier in Lalmonirhat district.
The BGB’s Singimari BOP Camp Commander Naik Subedar Safizul Islam, confirming the matter of the firing, said one was identified as Altab Hossain, 55, son of Baccha Sheikh of the area, while the identity of the other injured could not be known immediately.
The farmer, Altab Hossain, along with others were working in the field between the 8-9 sub pillars of the main pillar number 893 of the border inside Bangladesh when Indian BSF fired at them, leaving three people injured.
Locals rescued them and took them to Hatibandha Upazila Health Complex where they were undergoing treatment.
