Indian troops kill seven youth in Chhattisgarh
Raipur: Indian forces’ personnel killed at least seven youth in BJP ruled violence hit-Chhattisgarh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian forces’ personnel during a cordon and search operation killed the seven people in a forest near Gobel and Thulthuli villages in Orchha area of Narayanpur district.
Indian officials dubbed the slain youth as Naxalites. A search operation was under way in the area, the officials added. The identity of the victims has not been confirmed.
The personnel of 45th battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and District Reserve Guard were involved in the operation, a senior police official said.
Three Indian troops were reported to have been injured in an attack in the same district.
