Manipur CM’s convoy came under attack amid tension in state
Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh’s convoy was ambushed by armed militants in the Kangpokpi district on Monday, leaving one security personnel injured.
Accrording to Kashmir Media Service, the convoy was en route to Jiribam district from Imphal when it came under attack along the National Highway-37 around 10:30 am.
The attack was carried out by unknown militants, and the Chief Minister was not harmed in the incident. The injured security personnel has been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
