Indian soldier killed, 4 injured in Rajouri road accident
Jammu: An Indian soldier was killed and four others sustained injuries in a road accident in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred in the evening near Bhawani village in the Nowshera sector when their vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge.
Reportedly, rescuers rushed the five troops to a nearby hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead on arrival. The four injured troops are receiving treatment, and their condition is reported to be stable.
On the other hand, a Centre Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bus on its way to Jammu from Srinagar caught fire due to a technical snag near Battery Chashma on the Srinagar-Srinagar Highway in Ramban district. The occupants escaped unhurt, officials said.
The fire was brought under control and no one was injured, Indian officials said, adding the vehicle suffered some damage.
