Modi regime forces Kashmiri students to sing Hindu songs in IIOJK schools
Srinagar: The Hindutva-inspired Modi government has ordered schools in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) to sing Hindu songs during morning assemblies, forcing Kashmiri Muslim students to abandon their cultural heritage.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the directive, disguised as a “national anthem” mandate, aims to erase the territory’s Islamic identity and impose Hindutva ideology.
Students and teachers are compelled to participate, risking disciplinary action if they refuse. This cultural suppression is part of the Modi government’s agenda to assimilate Kashmir into Hindu India, ignoring the sentiments of IIOJK’s Muslim majority.
