Missing American tourist’s body found in Himachal Pradesh
Shimla: The body of Trevor Bokstaahlar, a 31-year-old American citizen, was found three days after he went missing in Himachal Pradesh state
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of the missing American citizen was recovered from a ravine between Kee and Tashigang in Lahaul and Spiti district.
Trevor Bokstaahlar went missing last week while visiting the Spiti Valley.
According to police officials, a search team used a drone to locate a parachute stuck in the ravine, which led them to suspect that it belonged to Trevor, who was a base jumper. Trained rescue teams were then deployed to retrieve the body, which was brought down from the ravine.
The officials said that preliminary investigations suggest that the death was an accident. The body has been handed over to the authorities, and further investigations are underway.
