Posters in IIOJK demand release of Hurriyat leaders
Srinagar: Posters have appeared in Srinagar of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to record Kashmiris’ protest against the illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and youth languishing in different jails of the territory and India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the posters were displayed by the pro-freedom organizations, which urged the world body to take notice of violation of Kashmiris’ right to self-determination, recognized by the UN Security Council Resolutions.
The posters, having pictures of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders, including All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman Maasrat Alam Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Maulana Bashir Irfani reminded the UN that it must implement its relevant resolutions to settle the dispute.
