Indian troops launch cordon and search operations in IIOJK
Jammu: In a bid to create an atmosphre of fear and intimidation, Indian troops continued to carry out search operation across occupied Jammu and Kashmir including Jammu region.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops particularly launched a search operation in Gandoh area of Doda on Wednesday. A top police officer told media men that a joint team of Indian army and other forces personnel were part of the search operation. The police officer also confirmed that Indian troops fired several bullets in the area while more details are awaited.
Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel also launched an operation in Kanda-Poni area of Reasi district. The search operation is underway in the forest area Reasi district in the garb of some ‘suspicious movement’.
Indian police claimed that three armed persons were seen in Kanda area on Tuesday evening.
