Civil society castigates BJP regime’s anti Kashmir policies
Srinagar: The civil society members have denounced the BJP puppet regime over its continued anti-Kashmir policies in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the civil society members, including Dr Zubair Ahmed, Muhammad Furhan, Muhammad Iqbal Shaheen and Syed Haider Hussain in a meeting in Srinagar said the BJP’s Hindutva regime is adding indiscriminate and brutal acts against Kashmiris and is neglecting rights of the local population of the occupied territory.
They urged India to end atrocities and immediately resolve the Kashmir dispute in line with the United Nations resolutions.
Censuring current state of affairs, they said all sectors, including local police, education and administration have been occupied by the non-Kashmiri babus which is adding more threat to the Kashmiris’ existence.
Dozens of vacant posts in the education department are also not only mangling children’s education but also a stark specimen of the present unelected regime’s anti-Kashmir policies.
They also drew the attention of the United Nations and other global human rights bodies towards the worsening political situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, they raised the plight of political detainees languishing in different jails and demanded their release.
The meeting deplored that the Kashmiris were not only arrested but their homes, properties and lands were also seized and sealed on concocted charges.
The meeting lamented that New Delhi was using the judiciary in the outrageous execution of political vendetta against the incarcerated Hurriyat leaders and youth.
They urged the United Nations to come forward and rescue the Kashmiris from political injustice and military siege.
