Alien occupation wreaks havoc on local lives in IIOJK
Srinagar: The people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir continue to suffer, with neglect and corruption plaguing their daily lives.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in the Bandipora’s twin villages of Shamthan and Gurihajan, residents face immense hardships due to the lack of basic amenities like roads, water, healthcare, and electricity. The residents are forced to live in isolation, relying on ponies for transportation and struggling to access essential services.
In Baramulla’s Kanispora area, a severe water shortage has left residents desperate, with some resorting to purchasing water from private suppliers or collecting it from nearby streams.
Meanwhile, allegations of massive corruption in the Handwara-Bangus road project have surfaced, with claims of illegal tree felling, ecologically harmful construction, and embezzlement of funds. The project’s irregularities have led to calls for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe and the blacklisting of the involved construction company.
These stories highlight the struggles of the Kashmiri people under alien occupation, where their basic rights and needs are neglected, and corruption thrives.
The international community must acknowledge their plight and support their quest for self-determination and human rights.
