Youth murdered in Jammu; police arrest 15
Jammu: Indian police have arrested over fifteen persons following the alleged murder of a youth in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of Sahil Choudhary was found in a pool of blood near Barjala- Miran Sahib after attending a party at a friend’s residence.
A police official said that a written complaint was filed at Police Station Satwari by Ajeet Singh of Krishna Nagar, Miran Sahib, stating that his nephew Sahil Choudhary was murdered by unidentified persons.
The police conducted raids at various locations across Jammu district, detaining 15 persons for questioning regarding the incident, the official added. He further said that the Call Detail Records (CDRs) of both the deceased and suspects are being analyzed to ensure timely justice for the family of Sahil Choudhary.
Investigation into the case is underway.
