Three Muslims including woman assaulted by Hindutva forces in UP
New Delhi: Three Muslims, including a woman, were brutally assaulted by Hindutva forces in BJP ruled Uttar Pradesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, one Muslim named Nazim, was stripped and beaten up by a Hindutva mob when he was talking to a Hindu woman in the Quarsi area of BJP ruled state Uttar Pradesh. A video of the incident has gone viral showing the stripped man being interrogated by a mob.
Another minor Muslim boy was thrashed by a group of people after they asked him his name when he had gone to meet his ill mother at Malkhan Singh District Hospital, in Banndevi area of Uttar Pradesh.
According to the victim, he was going to fetch water for his father when some Hindutva people on the way asked him for his name. “After Knowing my name, they took me to the roof of the hospital and started beating me,” the minor (name withheld) said. The video of this incident had also surfaced on the internet. In the video the victim can be seen imploring and crying for help while one man was beating him and another one was shooting video of the horrendous act.
Family members of the minor said that the boy did not reveal anything about the incident to them as the attackers had threatened to kill him if he uttered a word about it.
In another incident, a Hindutva man, Vishal Thakur, assaulted and molested a burqa-clad woman in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh and the accused was arrested after the CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, in a shocking incident in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, a Muslim woman faced a brutal assault, igniting widespread condemnation and safety concerns. A video of the incident has gone viral and has sparked outrage across the community raising questions about women’s security in the region.
